Referees:

Referees will be appointed by Ukrainian Floorball Federation (UFF).

 

Warm Up:

There will not be any opportunity to warm up on the floorball ground (except for the final matches) and warming up before every match will, therefore, have to take place next to the ground or outside the hall.

 

Dressing Rooms:

The number of dressing rooms in all halls is limited and therefore it has to be used by „walking through“ system. After changing before the match please take all the teams belongings in bags to the ground. After the match you may be given a different dressing room. The organizers cannot be taken responsible for any loss of personal belongings during the tournament.

 

Awards:

In each category, the winner will be awarded by a cup. Teams on the medal positions will be awarded by medals (min. 6 teams in the category, max. 18 medals per team). At the same time the best goal scorer, best goalkeeper and best player in each category will be decorated. The teams and individuals will be decorated immediately after the final game of the given category.

 

Insurance:

Please note that every participant is taking part in the tournament on his own risk and is not generally insured by the organization. Therefore, general travel insurance is recommended.

The organizer is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury of the participants during the tournament.


Tournament rules for Ukraine Open 2020:

The valid IFF international rules will be applied. The rules in “IFF – Friendly International Matches” edition 2014.

Playing Time:

Men Pro

2×20 min, with last 3 minutes not being effectively measured in all the group matches. The interval between the first and second period is 2 minutes. No time out allowed in the group matches.

Playoff is played 2×20 with last 3 minutes being effectively measured. The interval between periods is 3 min.

Men

2×15 min, with last 3 minutes not being effectively measured in all the group matches. The interval between the first and second period is 2 minutes. No time out allowed in the group matches.

Playoff is played 2×15 with last 3 minutes being effectively measured. The interval between periods is 3 min.

Women

2×15 min, with last 3 minutes not being effectively measured in group matches. The interval between the first and second period is 2 minutes. No time out allowed in the group matches.

Playoff is played 2×15 with last 3 minutes being effectively measured. The interval between periods is 3 min.

Amateurs

2×15 min, with last 3 minutes not being effectively measured in group matches and play off. The interval between the first and second period is 2 minutes. No time out allowed in the group matches.

Junior U15 & U13 & U11 & U9 & (U-13 girls)

2×15 min, with last 3 minutes not being effectively measured in all the group matches and play off. The interval between the first and second period is 2 minutes. No time out allowed in the group matches.

Special Olympics

2×10 min, with last 3 minutes not being effectively measured in group matches and play off. The interval between the first and second period is 2 minutes. No time out allowed in the group matches.

Qualification Key:

Victory in group games gives 3 points, draws 1 point and lost game 0 points.

If two/more teams reach the same amount of points after the group matches the final position is decided as follows:

The amount of points reached in mutual direct matches

The score difference reached in mutual direct matches

The amount of scored goals in mutual direct matches

The total score difference

The total amount of scored goals

A draw in the eliminating matches is followed by:

3 penalty shots

Penalty sudden death

All teams are guaranteed at least 4 games during the tournament.

All Ukrainian floorball players in the following categories are to be licensed by Ukrainian Floorball Federation:

Men, Women, U-15 and U-13.

No Alcohol is allowed in the venue throughout the whole tournament.

Referees:

Referees will be appointed by Ukrainian Floorball Federation (UFF).

Protest:

A potential protest must be delivered to the JURY or to the hall secretariat in a written form 15 minutes after the match at the latest. Protest fee: UAH 500. In case of refusing the protest the fee is not refunded. The verdict of the JURY is final and cannot be questioned.

Match Report:

The match protocol must be filled in and handed over to the match secretariat at latest 10 minutes before every match.

Walk Over:

The maximum waiting time is 5 minutes, after that the de ‘fault result will be 0:5. Any team missing two matches due to the walk over will be excluded from the tournament and all played matches annulled.

Players Participation:

Any player can take part only in one team during the entire tournament. The only exception is a junior player who can participate also in the men team of his own club in case the match schedule enables this. In the Junior U15 category players born 2005 and younger are allowed to participate and in junior U13, U11 and U9 players born 2007, 2009, 2011 and younger. Player’s identification may be requested in case of misgivings. The players’ passports or other ID must be for disposal for this case. The player’s identification can be requested also by the opponent but only till the end of the break between the 1st and 2nd period after handing over the protest fee. In case of potential unfitness the default result of this match will be 0:5.

Match Penalty:

Match penalty 1 leads automatically to suspension until the end of the respective match, match penalty 2 to suspension in the following match and the match penalty 3 leads to the player’s suspension in the whole tournament.

Team colors:

In case the referees decide that one team should change shirts due to the similarity of the opponents, colors the team listed as away team in the official match schedule is obliged to change.
